KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA (July 4, 2024) — Hyatt Place Kuala Lumpur Bukit Jalil is excited to announce its new pet-friendly policy, welcoming guests and their pet companions to experience a comfortable and enjoyable stay. As part of its commitment to providing exceptional hospitality, the hotel is delighted to extend its services to include the needs of pets and their owners.

Pet-Friendly Accommodations

The spacious and well-appointed rooms are designed to ensure both you and your pet enjoy a relaxing and stress-free stay. Experience the welcoming and inclusive environment, whether you are traveling for business or leisure, the hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and exceptional service for you and your pet companion, with someone to clean up after you and your pet check-out of the room.

Convenient Access to Outdoor Spaces and Pet Amenities

Located in the vibrant heart of Bukit Jalil, the hotel is ideally situated near several pet-friendly areas and services, making it easy for guests to enjoy outdoor activities with their pets, and amenities to tend to their needs. Guests will also have peace of mind knowing that there are many veterinary clinics within the Bukit Jalil area with the closest clinic to the hotel being – Bukit Jalil Veterinary Clinic & Surgery, a mere 5 minute drive and opens 7 days a week, and on weekdays until 9:30PM. Right across the hotel, next door, there is also a large pet accessory store known as – Hyper Pets, that provides supplies and accessories for all kinds of pets. 

The Bukit Jalil Recreational Park, just a short walking distance from the hotel, offers expansive green spaces, walking trails, and designated pet areas where pets can roam freely and safely. Additionally, the hotel features easy access areas for quick walks, ensuring your pet’s comfort and convenience. Hotel Pet Policy

To maintain a welcoming environment for all guests, the hotel requests that pet owners adhere to the following guidelines:

Exclusion from Certain Areas: For the comfort and safety of all guests, pets are not permitted in restaurants, bars, swimming pool areas, and other common guest areas. Pets must be in their carriers at all times whenever they are in the hotel lobby (during check in/check out) and the guest room floor corridors and in the elevators.

Cultural Sensitivity: In consideration of local customs and sensitivities, dogs are excluded from the pet policy and are not permitted on hotel premises.


Pet Regulations: Pets should be house-trained and weigh under 20 lbs (9 kg). A maximum of two pets per room or suite is allowed. Health, safety and security rules must be followed at all times. The hotel reserves the right to refuse pets that do not meet customary standards for house-trained, based on species, odour, aggressive or dangerous behaviour. The hotel also reserves the right to ensure that pets are treated with care, dignity and respect at all times while in the hotel. 

Authority: The hotel has sole authority in determining if the pet is allowed to join the guest during the hotel stay. In the event of any unforeseen disturbances caused by the pet, the hotel will have the sole right to request that the pet be checked out from the hotel. Three working days advance bookings must be made in the event that you wish to bring a pet to the hotel and the hotel will then contact you to make arrangements. The hotel team will evaluate, verify and confirm in writing if the hotel is able to accommodate your pet and yourself for the stay.

The hotel has the sole right to also determine days that pets may not be allowed in the hotel due to various reasons. Hence the advance notification is very important. For walk-ins with a pet that has not given advance notice to the hotel and neither have they received confirmation from the hotel, will not be allowed to check in and will be evaluated on a case to case basis.  The hotel reserves the sole right to assign the guest rooms that have been designated as Pet Family rooms that are located on certain floors only.

*One-Time Room Cleaning Fees

To ensure the cleanliness and comfort of the accommodations for all guests, a one-time room cleaning fee applies based on the length of your stay:

1 to 7 Nights: MYR 400 +
8 to 14 Nights: MYR 600 +
15 to 21 Nights: MYR 800 +
22 to 30 Nights: MYR 1000 +

*Please note that room cleaning service is conducted after your departure.

Terms and Conditions

Your pet must be confined in a carrier/casing if left unattended during the cleaning of your room or you can make arrangements at your convenient time with housekeeping and to be present when your room is serviced.
