Hong Kong, 25 January 2017 – Located in the heart of the city, Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong offers a myriad of celebratory settings for special occasions, fantastic dining choices on Valentine’s Day and indulgent spa treatments.

Begin the evening by raising a toast to romance with an elegantly crafted cocktail at M bar or a classic quintessential dirty martini at Mandarin Grill + Bar. Then continue the evening with an intimate meal for two.

Pierre is the hotel’s stunning two Michelin-starred restaurant and Pierre Gagnaire’s pied-à-terre in Hong Kong. Begin the evening at 6 p.m. and watch the sun set with a four-course menu featuring Oscietra caviar, roasted veal rack, and Chef Gagnaire’s signature grand dessert priced at HKD1,788 per person. The second celebration from 8:30 p.m. onwards will include a six-course menu with highlights including blue lobster fricassée, seabass tandoori, and lamb with black truffle all while admiring the sparkling evening views of Hong Kong at HKD2,588 per person.

The classic yet contemporarily glamorous Michelin-starred Mandarin Grill + Bar is another romantic destination tucked away on the hotel’s first floor. The restaurant will offer two seatings with the earlier four-course dinner beginning at 6 p.m. and a romantic toast of Ruinart Blanc de Blancs Champagne at HKD1,588 per person. The second seating for the six-course menu starts at 8:30 p.m. and is priced at HKD2,388 per person with highlights including Spanish red prawn, langoustine from the Faroe Islands, French dry aged beef tenderloin, Amaou strawberries from Japan, and Krug Champagne.

Man Wah, often referred to as Hong Kong’s most beautiful dining space thanks to its Imperial splendour and panoramic views of Victoria Harbour and cityscape, will offer a special six-course menu along with the traditional à la carte menu, available for two seatings at6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. at HKD1,088 per person. Highlighted dishes include fillet of spotted grouper, pan fried scallop with minced shrimp, Wagyu beef and Japanese green pepper, and red wine pudding.





A popular tradition in Hong Kong is to celebrate at Clipper Lounge with an afternoon tea set from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at HKD348 per person or HKD588 per couple. In the evening, enjoy a sumptuous buffet with an array of international dishes, fresh seafood and sashimi selections, desserts, as well as a new molecular ice cream station. Two seatings will be offered, with the earlier starting at 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and the second seating starting at 8:30 p.m., both priced at HKD888 per person including a glass of Bellini per person.

At Café Causette, indulge in a set dinner menu for two, both at HKD508 per person or complete the evening with a selection of irresistible desserts including Executive Pastry Chef Yves Matthey’s Strawberry and Rose Petal Cake, Cassis White Chocolate Mousse, or Violet Ice Parfait Glace Nougatine at HKD208 per dish.
