KUALA LUMPUR, APRIL 2019 – To mark the holy month this year, Grand Millennium Kuala Lumpur invites guests to dine at The Mill Café with a special celebration of food and heritage inspired by Malaysia’s melting pot of culture. Promising a journey of culinary discovery and fond food memories, the hotel will showcase a feast for the senses with live carving stations, regional cuisines and a specialised fare for a truly village-style experience.

Themed ‘Nostalgia Desa’ which translates to ‘Village Classics’, from 6th May to 4th June 2019, Executive Sous Chef Razali Idris and his team of culinary artisans will present over 230 traditional delights with an array of palate-tingling specialties, featuring food cooked with passion to celebrate togetherness.

Priced at RM 158 nett per person, the exceptional line-up of mouth-watering dishes this year include oven baked sambal fish, oven roasted whole lamb, biryani rice, soto ayam, sotong masak hitam, ayam panggang sri gadeb, gulai daging salai, ayam masak madu, butter chicken masala and more. Those with a sweet tooth can visit the dessert bar which highlights a selection of kuih Raya, cakes, sticky date pudding, bubur pengat pisang, pulut hitam, bubur serawa durian and tapai pulut.

Besides dining indoors while bring entertained with live local tunes, fans of the thorny king of fruits are in for a special treat. For the first time, the hotel will feature an all-you-can-eat durian buffet in its alfresco lounge where diners can finish off their culinary experience on a high note, only at an additional RM 20 nett per person.
