Sparkling BVLGARI Roman Holiday

To kick start the holidays, the Sparkling BVLGARI Roman Holiday at Statue Square will light up Central with a large, jewellery-inspired Serpenti light-art installation. A special collaboration between Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) and BVLGARI, the centerpiece inspired by ancient Rome and Greece symbolising wisdom and strength is made up of fifty thousand LED lights illuminate to create the scaled serpent’s body which took six months to build and two months to install.  

Symphony of Lights while on a Star Ferry Ride

Enjoy the Star Ferry ride which has been rated as one of Tripadvisor’s “Top 10 Must-See Destinations in Hong Kong”, for excellent views of Victoria Harbour, Victoria Peak and the Hong Kong skyline. Time it right, and at the stroke of 8pm, witness a middle-of-the-harbour view of the Symphony of Lights show where 44 buildings around the harbour perform a colourful musically synchronised 13-minute display.

Families can celebrate the joyous occasion with Disney characters like Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Queen Elsa, Buzz Lightyear and more.

New Year Countdown Pyromusical and Fireworks

Round up the year at the much anticipated New Year Countdown Celebrations on 31 December 2015 where locals and visitors gather to watch the pyromusical and fireworks at the stroke of midnight. Vantage points include the waterfront along Tsim Sha Tsui; the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Open Piazza and Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade; West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade; New Central Harbourfront; the promenade at the Golden Bauhinia Square in Wan Chai and the areas around Central Piers No. 9 and 10.

Malaysians who are looking for a more intimate moment during the winter season can also hop onto either The Big Bus Night Tour or Open-top Bus Starry Night to enjoy festive ambience with winter-themed citywide decoration amidst glittering skyscrapers on the road.
