Sunway Putra Hotel’s Fish head Curry is definitely a must-try! Whether it is for lunch or dinner, simply proceed to the Coffee House, located on Level 9 of Sunway Putra Hotel and indulge in this scrumptious delight, specially prepared by the hotel’s culinary expert, Chef Rossham Rosli, who is Sunway Putra Hotel Kuala Lumpur’s Executive Chef .

A generous portion of Fish Head Curry is priced at RM39.90 nett, served with two steamed white rice and appetising vegetables. Unlike other cuisines, this Indian-inspired Fish Head Curry requires the chef to marinate the Red Snapper fish overnight using turmeric powder, salt and pepper. The curry base is cooked using onions, shallots and garlic sautéed with curry powder and fresh tomatoes, with the addition of others spices and herbs such as tamarind, yoghurt, green cardamom, black cumin, green chilies, coriander seeds and mace.

The Fish Head Curry simmering process is completed when coconut milk and marinated red Snappers Fish are finally added together. “The tamarind blends with all of the ingredients to give sour taste to the curry flavor,” shares Chef Rossham. “The secret to a good curry is to use the correct method; for instance, instead of chucking into a pot and leave it to boil, the ingredients are added one by one and let it simmer slowly,” he added.

Coffee House is located on Level 9 of Sunway Putra Hotel Kuala Lumpur . The operating hour is from 6:00 a.m. until 10:30 p.m.
